UPDATE: How to donate to the family of Deputy Brian Ishmael

The California Highway Patrol Credit Union has established a fund for the family of Deputy Brian Ishmael of the El Dorado Sheriff’s Department who was killed in the line of duty on Wednesday October 23rd. Deputy Ishmael leaves behind a Wife and three young children. To contribute to the fund, click here.
Special note of thanks to all who joined KNCI at Golden 1 Center on Saturday night to collect blue ribbons, leave donations and sign a memorial for Deputy Ishmael. Here are a few photos of the event:

El Dorado County Sheriff’s Deputy Brian Ishmael was killed in the line of duty early this morning. Brian was a 4 year veteran of the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department and worked for the Placerville Police Department before that. Officer Ishmael leaves behind his wife and three children.
