Elk Grove Police Fighting Porch Thieves With Bait Packages

Elk Grove residents are fed up with package thefts (as they should be), so local police are taking action! The authorities are placing decoy bait packages on porches to catch thieves in the act. I’m all about it! The Elk Grove Police Department announced their efforts in a Facebook post that’s since been shared more than 2,500 times. They did not detail the specifics of how it would work, but that’s a good thing. We don’t want these people catching on.
