If you can make it out to this event next year, I recommend doing so. There’s some sticker shock with the ticket price, but for what you get it’s a steal. I tried ALL 16 burgers (super proud of myself) at last night’s Sacramento Burger Battle. I voted for Empress, but there were some tasty little treats being served up. And for the first time in seven years, the judges and the people named the same burger as the winner.
Pangea Bier Cafe came out victorious and is now the proud owner of TWO Sacramento Burger Battle belts.
“I mean. I think it’s official,” Pangaea executive chef Brett Stockdale told Cap City Radio. So what’s the secret to making a winning burger? “It’s passion. That’s all you need to know,” said Pangaea owner Rob Archie. “It’s love, man,” Stockdale added. “You gotta make sure every burger is exactly how you want it every time.”
