Now that the Foothills are getting power back… maybe plan a weekend trip to support local businesses that have been hit hard the last few weeks. #supportfoothills

Small business owners in towns like Auburn, Placerville, Nevada City, Grass Valley and other places have been particularly hard-hit by the recent PG&E outages. Already getting by on often very thin margins, many have been set back severely by the lack of business and face the kind of hardships that can sink a lot of businesses. One estimate from Auburn is that the power outages cost locally-owned shops and restaurants millions of dollars in lost revenue.
So, it’s gonna be a beautiful fall weekend. If you have nothing else going on, take Mark’s advice and head up to the hills and, as we like to say, Be The Good (Plus, hey, ya gotta get started on your Christmas shopping anyway).
