The Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento is having a free Noon Year’s Eve party where families count down to noon and there’s a HUGE, FREE fireworks show in Old Sacramento. Have some FREE New Year’s Eve fun in Sacramento…

Crocker Art Museum – FREE

From CrockerArt.org: This year, we’re kicking the Noon Year Festival up a notch. The Crocker Art Museum will be decked-out in purple, and we encourage all of our young visitors (and their grownups) to do the same! One of Sacramento’s most heartwarming and fun-filled traditions, families come together to count down the New Year at noon. With live music from the steel drums of the Pan United Youth Movement led by Shawn Thwaites, folk dancing by Alpentänzer Schuhplattler, festive activities throughout the Museum, and the Far East Dragon Lion Dance Association starting everything off, this is one New Year’s celebration everyone can stay awake for.

The museum is open from 10 AM – 2PM on New Year’s Eve. Get more info HERE

Old Sacramento -FREE NYE Sky Spectacular

From NYESacramento.com: Residents are invited to the biggest, admission-free New Year’s party as the 2018 Sky Spectacular returns to the Old Sacramento Waterfront. This year’s event will once again cater to residents of all ages, with live music, food and drinks, games and an awe-inspiring fireworks show.

From 6 – 9 p.m., attendees of all ages can enjoy food and drinks from area vendors and family activities. The popular Thunder Cover band will play from 6 – 10 p.m. on the Golden 1 Stage, and magician Mr. Illusion will also perform for the crowd. And to usher in the New Year, an inspiring fireworks display from multiple locations will serve as the evening’s finale at 9 p.m.

The article says that Sacramento RT will be offering free rides to the NYE Sky Spectacular with this flier.

Whatever you and the family end up doing, we hope that you have a safe and amazing New Year’s Eve!
