During a recent chase with police, a French man chose a terrible hiding spot: the DGSE, France’s top spy headquarters…

According to The Local France, the unnamed man had been in a car accident earlier in the day. Since he didn’t have a license and was likely at fault in the crash, he fled the scene with police in pursuit.

In an attempt to get off a busy street, the man scaled a tall fence and took off running. However, he didn’t realize that the fence surrounded the grounds of the General Directorate of External Security (DGSE). The DGSE is France’s external intelligence agency, and they’re equivalent to the CIA in the US.
