Garth Brooks’ next album, Triple Live, is going to be a live record! It’ll feature recordings from his three-year U.S. tour along with a Ashley McBryde “Girl Goin’ Nowhere” cover.

Brooks is quite fond of the song, as he’s covered it a number of times on his tour. “I’ve got to tell you, it was one of my favorite if not my favorite moment[s] on the record,” he shared.

An excited McBryde also confirmed the news on the ACM Honors red carpet on Aug. 22, reports Sounds Like Nashville. “Yeah, Garth just let the cat out of the bag that he is releasing ‘Boy Going Nowhere’ on his live records,” she said.

“He started covering, ‘Girl Going Nowhere’ in the middle of last year and we didn’t know that he was going to put it on record or anything. So it was really cool when he called and said, ‘Ms. Ashley, can I put ‘Boy Going Nowhere’ on my record?’ Uh-Yes, sir. You can!”

There isn’t a set release date for Triple Live yet. But the fact that more information is surfacing indicates it’ll be out soon!
