As more and more places move toward re-opening there are a lot of us dealing with anxiety about the whole thing and thankfully since it’s Mental Health Awareness month there’s even more resources and tips available to help you deal with that anxiety. There are lots of tips HERE to deal with anxiety, the one that really stood out to me is to focus on what you can control. For example, limit the amount of media you’re consuming which can increase anxiety levels. Also, take control of things in your immediate environment such as social distancing rules, face masks, hand washing, etc.

This virus had done a lot to mess with our heads with increases in depression, anxiety, and several other issues throughout our culture. Just know you’re not alone. Earlier this week the KNCI DJs sat down for a round table discussion about mental health during COVID-19 which you can watch HERE. We will get through this together!
