Ironic, But Who Cares: California Employment Development Dept Now Hiring

It’s an ironic twist that just doesn’t seem all that surprising in the middle of this crazy pandemic: with so many people unemployed, the state Employment Development Department is hiring 1800 people to help process unemployment claims.

According to a press release, the jobs range from temporary full-time to part-time hourly and are both in-office and/or work from home. Bilingual and multilingual people are especially needed.
