Jackie Lee released his video for “Long Year” and revealed his battle with testicular cancer. The touching video takes us behind his journey.

Jackie wrote the song about his mom, whom he lost to ovarian cancer in 2016. The “Getting Over You” singer started going to chemotherapy in October 2017 to treat his cancer, reports Nash Country Daily. Although it was a hard battle, after three months of chemo, Jackie is cancer-free! The emotional video shows the process from diagnosis to defeat.

Jackie plans to release a new single on May 25 aptly named “Comeback.”
