Jake Owen ROASTED By Golf Legend

Jake Owen is teeing off…on himself… after golf pro Phil Michelson tee’d off on HIM.
Jake says he and Mickelson were both at the wedding of golfer Jordan Speith–who is a good friend of Owen’s– in November.
It was the day after Mickelson had played a match with Tiger Woods for a million dollars on pay per view. The match did not live up to expectations and left a lot of viewers disappointed, including Owen, who claims he approached Mickelson at the wedding receptions and said, “Phil…you owe me $29.95 for wasting four hours of my life watching some of the (worst) golf I’ve ever seen!”
Jake says in response, Mickelson whipped out a stack of cash and handed him a hundred dollar bill and said “I won 90,000 of these yesterday…take one of ‘em and go (blank) yourself”.
Ouch. Somebody get the oven mitts because Jake was roasted.
The New York Post actually reached out to Mickelson to verify the story and he said yep…it happened. Only question is, how serious was the exchange? Given Jake’s passion for golf and the fact he can be a high-level smart @ss, it could’ve been just a fun clap-back between buddies. Either way though…do not mess with a guy carrying around $90,000 in hundred dollar bills.
