Jason Aldean Sings Nothing But Praise About Miranda Lambert

Jason Aldean had absolutely nothing but compliments to give to Miranda Lambert while talking about how their collaboration on his upcoming album came to fruition.

It’s been two long years since the last time Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert have collaborated on a song.

While Jason was creating his upcoming album, Rearview Town, he wanted to include Miranda. As it turns out, Miranda wasn’t too crazy about the first song that Jason sent to her. He told Sounds Like Nashville:

“I had a song in mind and I sent it to her. She was just kinda iffy on the song that I sent, and I was like, ‘Hey, if you don’t like it, it’s cool. I want you to love whatever we do.’ So, I had another song that I had in mind. I said, ‘Actually, you know, I’ve got this other thing that I’ll send you and see if you like that better.’ And so I sent he ‘Drowns the Whiskey’ and she loved that song.”

Jason also went on to say that “Grown Woman,” another collab with Miranda on his second album, is his favorite:

“We did a song together on my second record called ‘Grown Woman’ that was to me probably my favorite song on that album, and, you know, I’m kind of always looking for songs and ways to collaborate with other people anyway. I just kind of wanted to do something else with her. I’ve always been a big fan of her voice and her style and everything.”

Rearview Town drops on April 13.
