Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles returned to her alma mater, Agnes Scott College, to deliver a powerful commencement speech.
Jennifer graduated from the private women’s liberal arts school in 1997. Her speech was heartwarming and also funny! She ended with message of strength, reports Taste of Country:
“What kind of woman do you want to be? ‘Cause I know what kind of women I want you to be. I want you to be fearless dream warriors, I want you to be the boss ladies of your own lives. I want you to live authentically in your truth. I want you to be so in touch with your truth that nothing can pull you off your path.”
