The “country electronic” genre has been very lucrative lately with a steady stream of new releases. The last drop was The Chainsmokers and Kelsea Ballerini’s “This Feeling,” and it looks like a Kane Brown x Marshmello track is up next.
Since Brown has a bit of a reputation for exploring beyond the bounds of traditional country, it’s not too much of a shock that he’d be on board for an EDM fusion song. According to Taste of Country, the two artists first spread news of the collaboration via Twitter. “I’m thankful that me and @kanebrown have a song coming next year,” Marshmello wrote. “It’s to real…..” responded Brown. “it’s gonna get to many people in their feelings…. and it’s a jam. only listened to it like 600 times.”
