Keith Urban And Nicole Kidman Donate To Australia’s Firefighters

Many who are fighting the fires down under are unpaid volunteers

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman announced on Twitter that they are donating a half million dollars to Rural Fire Services in their native Australia. The devastating wildfires have so far torched over 12 million acres of wild land–“The Bush”, as it’s known there– and while there has been some rainfall recently, many of the blazes are still burning out of control. At least 24 deaths have been blamed on the fires, and some estimates put the loss of wildlife at over a half a billion. That’s not a typo.
