Country stars, Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett, will be joining the new season of NBC’s The Voice that will be premiering in September. The two will act as advisers for specific coaches, during the Battle Rounds after the show begins.

According to Taste of Country, Urban will be joining Blake Shelton as mentor and adviser for his team during this season. Likewise, Rhett will be taking on the role of team adviser for Kelly Clarkson. This will reportedly be Thomas Rhett’s first time acting in a coaching or advising role for a major reality television competition. Urban, however, has some experience, appearing on American Idol as a judge for its final four seasons on Fox.

Rounding out the rest of the advising teams will be Halsey for Team Jennifer Hudson, and CeeLo Green for Adam Levine’s team. Both Clarkson and Shelton have borrowed help from their country music peers before. Last season, Clarkson had Cassadee Pope as her team’s adviser, while Trace Adkins lent a hand to Blake Shelton and his team. Clarkson’s team was last season’s big winner, with Brynn Cartelli claiming America’s vote. Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett will be giving their advice to help their teams be next season’s winner, when it premieres September 24.
