It’s been years now since rumors spread about a potential feud between Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood.
The chatter likely started because they’re both early American Idol winners. Clarkson wanted to show that the two could not be on better terms by posing together on the red carpet. She told Entertainment Tonight: “Everybody always tries to pit me and Carrie against each other. So, when I saw her I was like, ‘You know what? Let’s just end this right now and get a picture together because we never are in the same place.’ It never happens.”

“People always try to put it together like we’re enemies,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘We don’t even know each other well enough to be enemies.’ I went to get a picture, and then everybody lost their mind.”
In fact, the two have often shown support towards one another on social media. So hopefully that rumor can now be put to rest!
