Did Kelly Clarkson poke fun at Kelsea Ballerini in her new commercial for The Voice? Maybe a little bit, but it’s all good!
According to Taste of Country, the ad features Clarkson making fun of some country music cliches.
However, Ballerini noticed something the average viewer probably didn’t catch: Clarkson’s outfit was very similar to the one she wore in her “Peter Pan” music video!
The country singer jokingly called out the American Idol winner on Twitter.

As it turns out, Clarkson had never seen the Ballerini’s video, nor did she come up with the commercial’s concept. After reading Ballerini’s comment, she gave an amusing, lighthearted response back.

While Clarkson could not deny the similarities, there are clearly no hard feelings. She explained in her post:
“Okay I swear I never saw that video. I’m dying laughing because it does appear as if we were poking fun at you. You’re my girl! I would have at least told you beforehand.”
