Kelsea Ballerini Shares Mom’s Reaction To Her Grammy Nom [VIDEO]

Kelsea Ballerini found out that her album, Unapologetically, is in the running for a Grammy today, Dec. 7!
To celebrate, she posted a video of her FaceTiming with her mom, Carla, telling her the news. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t have any sound, but it really doesn’t matter. The emotions are clear as day.
“This woman moved me to Nashville to pursue music when I was 15 years old,” Ballerini captioned. “Today I got to call her and tell her about my 2nd Grammy nom for an album that she watched me live. Her face says it all. I love you Mom.”

Ballerini’s sophomore album is nominated for Best Country Album, making it her second Grammy nod, reports The Boot. Her first nomination was in 2016 for Best New Artist.
