Kenny Chesney Not Attending CMA’s Due To Death In Family

You won’t see Kenny Chesney at tonight’s Country Music Association Awards. The CMA’s tweeted out that Kenny would not be attending due to a death in his family. No other details were given. Here’s the announcement:
CMA Musical Event of the Year winner & Entertainer of the Year nominee @KennyChesney will be unable to appear on tonight's telecast due to a death in the family.

Earlier today Kenny, along with David Lee Murphy, won the CMA award for Musical Event of The Year for “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright.” Kenny is also up for tonight’s biggest award, Entertainer Of The Year.
