Maren Morris is proving that she can do it all this year. Not only did she flourish in her professional life, but in her personal affairs, as well.

The singer found immense genre-defying success with her collaborative track with Zedd and Grey, “The Middle”. She was also recognized within country with her five Grammy nominations, reports PopCulture. As if all that wasn’t enough, she’s further ending the year with a huge bang.

“When Allstate asked me to be part of ringing in the New Year, I’d always wanted to do the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, so this was just a bucket list thing for me,” Morris told CMT. “And I get to bring my band and my husband. Plus Florida Georgia Line will be there. And I’ve never celebrated New Year’s Eve in New Orleans, so it will be a really fun time in the French Quarter.”

Although she’s his such incredible accomplishments in her career, she’s still proud of hitting her New Year’s resolution.

“I remember that this year’s resolution was to be better at making cocktails,” Morris said. “My husband is such a great cook, and I felt like I didn’t contribute anything in that arena. So I was like, ‘I’ll handle the cocktails.’ And I’ve gotten a little bit better at making them this year. I can make them at the house, on the road, and on the bus. I got really good at making margaritas, I think.”

And, of course, she also hit an important milestone in her life this year by getting married to fellow country singer Ryan Hurd. What a huge year for Maren Morris! Can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.
