Mason Ramsey, AKA “Walmart Boy,” made his Good Morning America debut with a performance of his song, “Famous.”
The 11-year-old spoke about his quick rise to fame after covering a Hank Williams song in a Walmart. “It’s bigger than me,” he exclaimed. “I’m like, ‘Wow!’ Walmart, thank you!”
Ramsey hopes to continue on down the path towards a music career. He’s already performed at Coachella and the Grand Ole Opry, but his sights are set globally. “I want to perform all around the world,” he said.

His Good Morning America performance is his TV debut, reports Taste of Country. He performed “Famous” along with a Hank Williams cover, “Lovesick Blues.”
