Memorial For Kobe & 8 Other Victims To Be Set For Later This Month

The City of Los Angeles plans on holding a memorial for Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gigi, and the 7 other victims of the helicopter crash on February 24th at Staples Center.

The helicopter crash happened Sunday, January 26th killed the Lakers icon, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, as well as parents, coaches and players on Bryant’s Mamba Academy basketball team.

Fans immediately flocked to Staples Center to give flowers and prayers for Kobe, his daughter, and the rest of the victims involved.

In addition to Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna killed in the crash, the seven other victims will be honored as well.

-John Altobelli, the longtime baseball coach at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, along with his wife Keri and daughter Alyssa.

-Sarah Chester and Payton Chester.

-Christina Mauser an assistant coach to Bryant on the Mamba Sports Academy team.
