Miley Cyrus recently shared how her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, helped save her animals when the wildfire threatened her home.
According to Taste of Country, Miley described how her dad came to the rescue, as fires grew closer to her house in Malibu. Cyrus was at a loss on how to get all her animals, two pigs, four horses, four cats and eight dogs, safely away.
Miley shared the harrowing situation, “This is making light of a very dark situation, but we had to go to Los Angeles that day and Liam (Hemsworth) was a hero and put all of the animals in his truck. He had to spray the pigs with the hose for them to go into crates because we had to be able to take them in the truck. So then we had seven dogs and pigs in L.A. and I was like, ‘What are we going to do with them?’ and my dad’s like, ‘Bring them over to my house and I’ll take care of them.'”

Miley has expressed her thankfulness for her family’s willingness to take in all her animals. When the issue of where the pets might sleep came up, Billy Ray reportedly had just the place. “(My dad) said they could sleep in his gym,” Miley humorously shared. “My dad is as country as they get.”
With her animals safe, Miley will reportedly be spending the holidays in Nashville with family.
