Nashville is about to get packed.  The annual CMA Fest, Country Music’s biggest fan festival, shifts into high gear today.   There are hundreds of fan club parties, meet and greets, and photo ops.  Clubs on Broadway feature top line talent and pop up stages, like the one outside Bridgestone Arena tonight, feature acts like Orangevale’s Devin Dawson.

With an event this big you need a very special greeter and CMA Fest has just that.  He’s 3 year old Isaiah, Carrie Underwood’s son.  According to tasteofcountry.com, after Carrie explained to Isaiah what would be happening over the next week he wanted to make sure everybody felt welcome.   Check out Isaiah waving to the first visitors and making them feel at home.

There are big shows every night at Nissan Stadium with killer lineups.  Thursday night features Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown and Dan + Shay.   Friday night it’s Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, and Jake Owen.  Saturday’s big acts are Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Jon Pardi, Kelsea Ballerini and Dustin Lynch.  Sunday’s finale features Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentely, Brett Eldredge and Luke Bryan.

California and the Sacramento area are well represented too.  Yuba City’s Tyler Rich will play the Bridgestone Arena outside stage on Friday,  Devin Dawson is playing that same stage tonight, and besides his Nissan Stadium appearance on Saturday night, Dixon’s Jon Pardi is up for Male Video Of The Year at tonight’s CMT Music Awards (they start at 8pm).

If you ever get a chance to go back to Nashville and take part in CMA Fest, do it.  It’s unlike any other Country Music Festival you’ve ever been to.  From one country music fan to another, it’s a life changer.
