Are people just not getting married at the rate that they used to? Last year, Alfred Angelo suddenly closed its doors leaving brides without dresses. And last month, Sacramento bridal shop House of Fashion shuttered citing online shopping as a big factor. But this one takes the cake—David’s Bridal announced on Monday that it has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

According to KCRA, the bankruptcy should be completed by January of next year. However, they say that customers shouldn’t be affected. Although, Toys ‘R’ Us said something similar and they ended up closing all of their shops.

“For more than 60 years, David’s has delivered beautiful, high-quality dresses and accessories for our customers’ most special occasions, and the actions we are taking will enable us to build on that tradition,” said Scott Key, CEO of David’s Bridal. “Our team is laser focused on providing brides and their families with the five-star service and experience they deserve and have come to expect from us.”
