A candy maker has come up with some new flavors of candy canes for the holidays this year, starting with a favorite cheese dish and ending with seafood.

It’s after October 1st, which means it’s end of the year season. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, all of ’em. So with that, how about an announcement of some new candy cane flavors? You’re either going to love them or hate them, although there’s one in particular I think everyone will hate.

Food has been an interesting thing for this year. There’s been cheese tea, pink things, new diets.. It’s always changing and morphing. I think that restaurants and food & snack creators are throwing in all sorts of random flavors just for publicity and a quick surge in sales. Which is where I think these new candy canes come into play. First, there’s mac & cheese. Yes, macaroni and cheese flavored candy canes.

Archie McPhee is at it again giving us crazy Candy Cane flavors. Last year I tried their Rotisserie Chicken flavor and .. it was an experience. 😖 ( It’s available this year too if you’re feeling brave ). This year they have 2 new varieties .. here’s one of them- Mac & Cheese flavored Candy Canes. 🧀 This one isn’t bad! Smells like cheese and tastes like Mac n cheese but the sweetness overpowers the flavor eventually so it’s doable. 👍🏻 I might not be so brave when I try the next one.. 🤐. Next, also new for 2018, they’ve got what they’re calling “clamdy” canes. You probably guessed what flavor these are, and I’m sure they’ll be popular in New England. “Your whole family will clamor for them,” they say. Nah, I’m ok. But maybe they’re good? Who knows. These are the two new flavors offered by Archie McPhee, the same weird-product people that brought us pickle, bacon, and rotisserie chicken candy canes. You can order all of these flavors now from their website here for about $6 a box. If you could make any flavor a candy cane, what would it be?
