Mannnnn, I have been patiently waiting for Quarry Park Adventures in Rocklin to open. It was originally slated to open over Memorial Day weekend, but that got pushed back to next month. However, now it appears it won’t open until the end of summer.

Quarry Park Adventures Opening Delayed Again

Philip Macdougall of Quarry Park Adventures told Fox 40 “it is almost there. This has been a work in progress for a couple of years, and we are in the bottom of the 9th. Everything is almost done.”

Reports say that another $1 million is needed to pull everything together. “We want to make sure the quality and safety issues are addressed, and we are almost there,” said Macdougall. Which look, I am all for. I don’t want to plummet to my death from a zip line.

As this is the first time something like this has been built, the timeline and budget are kind of being figured out as thing move along. Food and bathrooms might be two of the things affected by the budget. However, food trucks and nice portable restroom aren’t too bad if you ask me.

Quarry Park Adventures is awaiting the decision of the city council for the additional money. But, they probably won’t have an answer until at least July.
