Rainbow Appears During Aretha Franklin Tribute

By kncipat on August 22, 2018

From age 5 on Aretha Franklin called Detroit home.  It’s where she was raised, lived, and last week where she passed.

Last night was the first home game the Detroit Tigers had since Franklin died (on Aug 16th).  Before the game the Tigers honored Franklin.  During a moment of silence with Aretha’s picture on the giant scoreboard along with the words “Respect,” and “Forever Our Queen.” a giant rainbow appeared.  Fitting!
