ACM host Reba McEntire has been using her platform leading up to the awards show to speak a little truth to power.

The country legend has lately been on a bit of a tear, calling out the Academy of Country Music for the lack of female nominees in the Entertainer of the Year category and now, calling out the industry itself for continuing to promote so-called “Bro Country” at the expense of female artists.
