Are you like me and November 1st means you start putting up your Christmas decorations immediately? Check out this study!

I’ve seen a couple of other studies show this exact same result. Researchers determined back in the 1980s that people who decorate for Christmas earlier are happier.

If you are against this, I assume that means you’re probably a negative person!

According to this study, many people that put their decorations up early want to convey their friendliness and openness to their neighbors.

“We also examine the possibility that residents who decorate for Christmas but who have few friends on the block may be using the decorations and other cues as a way of communicating their accessibility to neighbors,” researchers wrote.
