Sacramento-based Tow Company Charged With Illegally Towing Hundreds Of Cars—Are You A Victim?

The owners of Davis Tow Inc. were arrested last week after a multi-year investigation by California Highway Patrol. Apparently the company towed hundreds of cars without authorization from lot owners.

A lawsuit states that cars were improperly towed from apartments, shopping centers, offices and the Sleep Train Arena. Yikes!

Additionally, the company conducts lien sales of the illegally towed cars per the Sacramento Business Journal.  At least six people have been arrested with bail set at $1 million each.

Thankfully my car has never been towed. This is some shady stuff. You should definitely fill out a report if you think you’re a victim.
