As you may well know, we are seeing another spike in increases of COVID-19 cases around the country, and most certainly within the state.
In a tweet today, Governor Gavin Newsom has asked all bars in Sacramento County (among many others) to close.
The keyword is “asked”, as he has ORDERED bars to close in 7 other counties.
Sacramento is among the list of counties that is being recommended, and not ordered, to close all bars.
See his tweet below:
NEW: Due to the rising spread of #COVID19, CA is ordering bars to close in Fresno, Imperial, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, San Joaquin, and Tulare, while recommending they close in Contra Costa, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Stanislaus, & Ventura.
