You might want to tune into “Bizarre Foods” on Travel Channel tomorrow at 9 PM. That’s when Andrew Zimmern’s trip to Sacramento and Rancho Murieta will be chronicled.
Zimmern’s traveled along the last 200 miles of the Pony Express, according to Sac Bee. Zimmern to the Bee that Sacramento is “a vibrant food community. I think everyone who loves food would be well-served to visit, especially in late spring when the farmer’s markets are really full.” Agreed.
The local stops included in the “Bizarre Foods” episode include Sportsman’s Hall in Pollock Pines. Then it was on to Van Vleck Ranch in Rancho Murieta. Finally, he stopped at Mulvaney’s B&L.
This episode is the first of the season on the Travel Channel.
