Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg says the city will establish a curfew Monday after two consecutive nights of looting in the downtown area.

Steinberg said the city council will hold a special meeting at 2 p.m., where he will recommend the authorization of either a 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. curfew.

He also mentioned that he has spoken to Gov. Gavin Newsom, and has talked about the possibility of bringing in the National Guard to Sacramento.
