On Monday, Verizon rolled out its first ever 5G internet service. Sacramento is one of only 4 cities nationwide to get this incredible 5G service, which is apparently 100 times faster than 4G internet.  The other cities Verizon is offering 5G is in Indianapolis, Los Angeles, and Houston. Verizon partnered with Sacramento’s mayor as it is jetting to become the next technology hub for the nation.

These are the Sacramento neighborhoods that will be getting the 5G service:

  • Westlake
  • Sundance Lake
  • North Natomas
  • South Natomas
  • Mansion Flats
  • Downtown/Midtown
  • North Oak Park
  • Central Oak Park
  • Pocket
  • Valley Hi/North Laguna
  • Colonial Village

If you are a Verizon customer, the 5G will cost $50/month, and $70/month for non-Verizon customers.
