Sacramento Police Getting New K9 Thanks To Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger

I’m not a Steelers fan but am now a big Big Ben fan. Thanks to a grant from Pittsburgh Steelers Ben Roethlisberger the Sacramento Police Department will be getting a new K9. Since 2005 The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation has been awarding grants to fire and police departments with an emphasis on support for K9 units and service dogs. How was Sacramento picked? Not sure, but Sac Police K9 officer Alexander Wagstaff said, “With this generous grant, the unit was able to purchase an additional K9 for the department.” Thank you Big Ben!
