‘The Sandlot’ Is Getting A Prequel With Original Director

One of the best baseball movies of all time, if not THE best, is getting a prequel! Whether you like it or not, The Sandlot is returning to theaters with a new plot and possibly, new cast, People reports. However, the original screenwriter and director of the 1993 film, David Mickey Evans, is returning to co-write the script! The project is in early stages with Twenty Century Fox, so plot details are sparse. But I’m open to it!
