It’s a sad week for loyal Dunkin’ Donuts fans, as the chain officially changed their name. Okay, so it’s not really THAT sad because all they did was drop the donuts portion. So, they are now just Dunkin’
Let’s be real here, people who grew up with it are still going to refer to it as Dunkin’ Donuts. You will start seeing the change reflected in signage and online in January of next year.
The change “officially puts the company on a first-name basis with customers,” a press release said. They have been doing pretty well in the coffee game and have other menu items, so I think it also helps brand them past donuts. Hopefully it’s not a scam like that dumb IHOB nonsense.
