Update: 15 Injured, 3 Dead Including A 6 Year Old Boy In Shooting At Gilroy Garlic Festival
One suspect has been shot and killed. The search is still on for a second suspect.

Reports say 15 people were injured, 3 dead as the result of at least one shooter at the Gilroy Garlic Festival. NBCbayarea reports that many hid, some ran up a trail, others escaped into a nearby house. The scene was chaotic and as of 9:30pm still active. One suspect was shot and killed. Authorities are still looking for a second suspect. Among the 3 dead is a 6 year old boy who was at the festival with his mother and grandmother. Both his mother and grandmother are among the 15 injured.
New Country group King Calaway played today and had just left the festival. They are fine. Their record rep was also on scene and escaped. That rep is former KNCI music director Matt Vieirra. Matt is fine but shaken up. He was also at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival in Las Vegas in 2017 where he ran for his life. Also San Jose radio station KRTY was at the festival. Their personnel thankfully got out and are fine. #prayforGilroy
