Starbucks Raised Their Coffee Prices This Week…Did You Notice?

I go to Starbucks occasionally because it’s by the office and I like the app. But their brewed coffee ain’t that great. And it’s definitely not worth the price it is already, let alone what it’s being raised to. Of course, that’s just my opinion. And I will probably still go because that Nitro and Sweet Cream is my jam.
The chain increased prices by between $.10 and $.20 on all coffee sizes according to the Wall Street Journal. It doesn’t seem like Starbucks gave notice or told customers. More like some food out, complained, and then the jig was up. Which is shady if you ask me.
A spokesperson for the coffee chain said that a spike in operating costs and rent led to the price increase.
