STD Grown Higher in Sacramento Than Any Other CA City

An alarmingly high record of sexually transmitted diseases were recorded in 2017 across all of California. In fact, there was a 45 percent increase from five years ago. Data show rates climbing higher in Sacramento County than other areas. Out of all 58 California counties, Sacramento County had the sixth-highest rate of chlamydia, the eighth-highest rate of gonorrhea and the 10th-highest rate of primary and secondary syphilis.
