Terrifying Escalator Accident In Rome Subway Injures Dozens [VIDEO]

Whaaatttt? Could you imagine being on an escalator that malfunctioned? And I don’t mean coming to a stop. I mean speeding up, causing people to crash into each other at the bottom! This actually happened this morning in Rome, Italy.

Authorities are investigating why the subway escalator suddenly began to race during rush hour, dumping riders and leaving dozens hurt, including one man with a seriously injured foot.

Many of those injured were fans of the Russian soccer team CSKA Moscow, which was playing against the Italian club Roma in the group stages of the Champions League.
