The 2018 Grammy Award Nominees Are In

The 2018 Grammy Award nominees were announced this morning, and there are a ton of surprises! My favorite is Luke Combs’ Best New Artist nomination. He’s the only country act in the category! Maren Morris scored Record and Song of the Year nominations but for her pop hit “The Middle.” Still. A huge achievement. Kacey Musgraves’ Golden Hour received a handful of nominations, including Album of the Year, the only country album to do so. Dan + Shay got a few much deserved noms for “Tequila” in the country categories. And I can’t NOT mention Kelsea Ballerini and Ashley McBryde are up for Best Country Album! Congrats to all the nominees.
