Thomas Rhett recently visited the set of Sesame Street with his wife, Lauren Akins, and two kids. They were all smiles!
Rhett’s two young daughters, Willa and Ada, of course, were especially delighted to be there. “‘Oh. My. Word. It’s the BEST. Day. Ever’ -Willa Gray (And she keeps calling Abby her ‘best friend’) Talk about a childhood dream come true! We got to go to Sesame Street!!,” Akin posted on Instagram. See her post below.

Rhett also took to Instagram to share some of his own photos, reports Sounds Like Nashville. “Yesterday was one for the books!,” he captioned. “My family and I had a blast getting to be a part of Sesame Street! Can’t wait for y’all to see this.”
Sesame Street is going big for its upcoming 50th anniversary. A slew of top name celebrities have stopped by the set including Maren Morris, Dave Grohl, and Charlie Puth, among many others.
