The city of Sacramento is trying to get more people to ride their bicycles to downtown Sacramento for work, so they plan on create specific lanes for bicyclist downtown and midtown. This means that the parking spots for cars will have to be pushed out away from the sidewalk, and the city will have to remove parking meters. SacBee.com has the full story.
