Here’s another reason to spend an entire paycheck at TJ Maxx. I love their stores. I actually use to work for them! So if I were in this position, I would be appreciative if they did this for me. Their parent company, who also owns Marshalls and Homegoods, is still paying employees in Puerto Rico, even though the stores are closed due to damage from Hurricane Maria, People reports.

“Based on the devastating situation in Puerto Rico, we can confirm that we have continued to pay our TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods Associates on the island,” a spokesperson for TJX said in a statement. “We believe it is the right thing for us to do under these circumstances.”

It is! Kudos.
