Trisha Yearwood is doing it her way, with her next album release being a tribute album to Frank Sinatra.

According to Nash Country Daily, this album will mark Yearwood’s first full-length studio album in over 10 years. Titled Lets Be Frank, this new release from Yearwood will include a variety of songs originally sung by Sinatra.

Yearwood expressed her excitement for the upcoming album, saying: “I’ve done some standards over the years in my shows, and this is a record I’ve been wanting to make for 20 years,” Trisha said. “When I got off the road and started working on a regular album, I also wanted to do this. This was just an incredible project. I had so much fun.”

Trisha reportedly recorded all the tracks for the album live. Alongside a 55 piece orchestra, Yearwood kept the authenticity by using Sinatra’s microphone when recording at Capitol Records in Hollywood.

Yearwood gushed about the experience and recording with the orchestra, saying: “The arranger is a legend . . . the engineers are legends . . . the producer is a legend. [And] Garth was there for every session.”

Yearwood’s anticipated album will be available on December 20 via Williams-Sonoma and everywhere else on February 14.
