Awww man, I am a millennial but don’t lump me in with the bad tippers. I almost always leave at LEAST twenty percent, or more if the service is good. I’ve only not tipped once and believe me, it was deserved.

As someone who worked in restaurants for years in high school and college, I know how tough it can be. So I always try to look out. But, apparently many people my age do not.

This Just In: Millenials Are Not Great Tippers

According to a survey from CreditCards.com, ten percent of adults ages 18-37 often leave no tip. And, when the tips are suggested for them, one in six picks the lowest amount, and one in five choose to leave zero per Delish. Worse yet, in restaurants a third of the millennials surveyed said they tip less than 15 percent.

But you know who was great across all of those areas? Seniors 65+ said they left twenty percent or more in every category. Additionally, the average left by women was twenty percent and sixteen percent for me.
