Tyler Rich Makes Grand Ole Opry Debut The Same Night As Who…?
By kncitom on September 26, 2018
No matter how good your week might go, just step aside and give the “Best Week Ever” crown to Tyler Rich.
First, Tyler’s 5 song EP was released on Friday and has been selling well. Then, Tuesday night, the Yuba City native realized a life-long dream and made it debut at Nashville’s venerated Grand Ole Opry.
But that’s not all. ALSO making their Opry debut last night:
Bill-Freaking-Murray.
Murray was there to support long-time friend (and Americana singer/songwriter/legend John Prine), who was performing new music, and to sign a little backup for Prine and Chris Stapleton’s old band, The Steel Drivers.
Talk about some rare air; it was hard to tell what Tyler was more excited about–his debut, or meeting a comedy god.
It was both mine AND Bill Murray’s #opry debut tonight 🙌🏼 pic.twitter.com/fFdMBynoZ6
